Round...

There was a challange posted on one of the messages board I go on to shoot things that are round. I shot them all with my Macro lens and maybe not my prettiest Macro shots, but I had fun shooting them! :O) So here they are...

I needed a break from editing the wedding shots so Macro was the PERFECT way to mix it up! So peaceful, soothing and beautiful!

Macro, oh why don't I shoot you more?

Yes, I say this everytime. I need to shoot more Macro. I love to shoot it and edit it! Here are some quick shots I took yesterday for Macro Monday on my board! Next time, I need to take my time and really search for things I really want to shoot and work the lens. I went out and took these in 5 minutes for the board. Next time is for me!






These flowers or weeds actually are so tiny! Each flower head is smaller than a pea. Man I love my Macro lens...

Hope everyone is doing well. I have some stuff to catch up on (meaning about 8 folders FULL to edit) then I'm really going to take some time with my Macro lens again! Have a wonderful week!

Fallen ashes from the Station fire....

I went out today to check things out and looked down in our grass and saw big ashes everywhere. I bent down to get a better look at these because they were so big and was very surprised at what I saw. Full and broken leaves. Fully formed with great detail! The second I touched any they turned to dust. Here are a few of the shots I got this morning...
